Dedication Ceremony at Kobe Bible Fellowship (Sunday, March 28th)

We rent space in an old church that has been home for a Chinese congregation for years in Kobe

Pastor Rob read from "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." He also spoke about prayer being the most important thing we as parents (and others) can do for a child because so much is beyond our control. However, God is Lord over all, so we know that prayers in Jesus are powerful.

We asked our good friends Nana & Batayan to sing and play a special worship song. (We put the words at the end.) It's a song that we received on a gift CD to Joshua, primarily from Psalm 139.

You Created Me (Christopher Davis)

You knit me together in my mother's womb
You search me and know me,
You make all things new

You created me, and all that I can see
Was molded by Your hand and it is good
You created me, so that I could be
Holy, holy, You are holy, You are good

Even in darkness, You will shine as day
Guiding me in Your everlasting way

You created me, and all that I can see
Was molded by Your hand and it is good
You created me, so that I could be
Holy, holy, You are holy, You are good
